Thanks to the progressive policy of the Esteemed President and Hero Arkadag, modern digital technologies, innovative developments, and approaches to sustainable production are being widely introduced into the agricultural sector of our country. Ensuring food abundance and stability, as well as increasing the volume and quality of agricultural products, are among the most important tasks facing modern science. On the occasion of World Food Day, on October 19, 2026, a scientific-practical seminar titled "Sustainable Food Production and Innovation", which holds great practical and scientific significance, was held at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
The seminar was attended by the faculty members, young scientists, and active students of our institute. During the conference, a thorough exchange of views took place on relevant topics such as the effective use of soil and water resources in agricultural production, the implementation of GIS (geographical information systems) and remote sensing technologies into production, as well as automated management of agricultural land.
At the scientific seminar, a special place was given to research works and innovative projects prepared independently by students. Following the results of the seminar, students who distinguished themselves with their insightful and original presentations from both practical and scientific points of view were particularly highlighted. Based on the seminar results, the most outstanding presentations were delivered by Jennet Yovbayeva, a 3rd-year student in the field of Automation and Control (in agriculture); Nasiba Satkenova, a 2nd-year student in the field of Information Systems and Technologies (in agriculture); and Mahym Durdygylyjova, a 2nd-year student in the field of Land Management and Cadastres. The presentations of the noted students aroused great interest among the participants due to their depth, rigorous scientific approach, and practical proposals intended for application in production.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the participants expressed their deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the President of Turkmenistan, Arkadagly Serdar, for creating favorable conditions for the development of science and education in our country and for opening broad opportunities for innovative research among youth.
