On the occasion of the 143rd anniversary of the founding of Ashgabat, the capital of independent, permanent neutral Turkmenistan, an online scientific conference “The White Marble Ashgabat City” was held at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. The conference was held for three days, from May 21 to 23, 2024, in three languages - Turkmen, English and Russian. The online conference was attended by teachers and students of nine higher educational institutions of the country: Turkmen Agricultural Institute, Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, International horse breeding Academy named after Aba Annaev, Yagshageldy Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas, Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, Institute of Telecommunications and informatics of Turkmenistan, State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan and Turkmen State Institute of Culture. The participants made presentations describing the beauty of the city of Ashgabat, built of white marble based on national architectural traditions. On the first day of the conference, 23 reports were heard in Turkmen, on the second day - 21 reports in English, on the third day - 17 reports in Russian. Speeches in three languages praised the image of the pearl capital, which is becoming more beautiful every day, and architectural objects included in the Guinness Book of Records.
The participants of the scientific conference expressed gratitude to the Hero Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who are doing a great job of raising the name of our beautiful capital Ashgabat.
