The development of the country’s agriculture on a scientific basis is one of the main tasks in the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of powerful state. Based on the wise words of our Arkadagly Hero Serdar: “Youth is the support of the country”, large-scale work is being carried out at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute to prepare future young agricultural specialists at the highest level.
In particular, scientific circles operating in the departments of the institute are preparing new proposals and planned work in this area. The leaders and members of the student scientific club “Advanced Agrochemist”, operating at the Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science, together with the staff of the Dashoguz Agrochemical Laboratory of the Soil Research Expedition of the State Project Institute “Türkmen ýer taslama”, conducted research monitoring work in order to study the composition of the soils of the experimental farm on a scientific basis.
The main objective of the research was to determine the degree of soil salinization, study the causes of salinization and develop methods of counteraction. Soil salinization has a detrimental effect on all plant life processes, namely photosynthesis, nutrient metabolism, respiration, which ultimately leads to a change in the internal and external shape of the plant and a significant decrease in yield. In this regard, innovative technologies used in the country were widely used to study the agrochemical, agrophysical and water-water properties of the soils of the farms under study on a scientific basis. As a result of the research monitoring work of the soil research expedition of the State Design Institute together with the staff of the Dashoguz Agrochemical Laboratory, students learned to apply the theoretical knowledge they received in practice, and in the future this will give them a great incentive to make a worthy contribution to the development of agriculture in our country on a scientific basis.
