Growth of seed production of agricultural crops in independent Turkmenistan

In the Epoch of the Revival of the new era of powerful state, it is necessary to increase the yield and quality of agricultural crops by creating an innovative system to implement the tasks set by the Esteemed President to ensure food abundance and security in the country.

In this regard, a clear confirmation of this is the holding of the international scientific conference “Milestones Achieved and Tasks Set in Seed Production of Agricultural Crops” at a highly organized level on September 19-20 this year.

A number of scientists from foreign countries took part in this scientific meeting held at the international level, presented their achievements in breeding science and exchanged fruitful ideas.

Also, scientists from Turkmenistan gave deep substantive information about the work carried out to develop breeding in the country.

We spoke about the achievements of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute in this area in the section “The Importance of International Cooperation in Vegetable Growing, Horticulture and Viticulture”, which was held as part of the scientific conference. Speaking on the topic of “Creating high-yielding, early-ripening pumpkin varieties in the conditions of Dashoguz velayat”, we talked about our results in creating varieties that differ in taste as a result of combining early-ripening, high-yielding pumpkin varieties grown in the country. Foreign scientists were very interested in our scientific work. This will create opportunities for establishing bilateral beneficial research activities in the future.
