On the occasion of the World Sea Day, the scientific club "Engineering-Hydrotechnical" of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute held a seminar "Activities in the Central Asian region to save the Aral Sea" on the important issues of saving the Aral Sea. A number of students from various scientific clubs of the institute participated in the event, presenting their ideas and projects aimed at solving this global ecological problem.
The participants of the seminar discussed a wide range of questions related to the drainage of the Aral Sea and its results. Special attention was given to issues such as climate change in the region, the impact of water depletion on biodiversity, and innovative technologies for desalination. Students presented their research projects on various causes of problems of the Aral Sea. During the event, several innovative solutions were presented, such as the development of a drip irrigation system, the use of salt-resistant crops and the creation of artificial reservoirs to preserve water reserves.
One of the important directions of the seminar was to discuss ways to solve the Aral problem at the regional level. The students noted the importance of increasing the ecological literacy of the population, introducing water-saving technologies in agriculture, and creating special programs for the restoration of the Aral region.
The seminar showed that students play an important role in solving global ecological problems. They have proven their willingness to contribute to saving the Aral Sea and creating a sustainable future.
