Scientific exhibition-contest of projects “Science and Youth: The Future of Agriculture”

The development of science and education, the improvement of the system for training highly qualified and broad-minded young specialists capable of effectively solving the pressing issues of the era of innovation and progress, is one of the priority directions of the state policy of the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The Head of State, successfully continuing the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, pays special attention to the development of the scientific sector, ensuring the formation of a solid scientific foundation for implementing reforms aimed at the bright future of the country.

At the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, active work is being carried out to implement the state policy of the esteemed President. In this regard, on March 19 of this year, the institute hosted a scientific exhibition-contest of projects “Science and Youth: The Future of Agriculture” organized jointly with the Turkmen Agricultural Institute and the Dashoguz Velayat Committee of the Magtymguly Youth Organization. The main goal of this event was to encourage youth engagement in scientific activities during the era of the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State, as well as to foster their scientific potential and professional skills.

Talented students, members of scientific clubs at the institute, as well as young researchers involved in scientific activities, took an active part in the competition. The participants presented their scientific projects addressing current issues in agriculture.

The jury carefully reviewed all submitted works, and at the end of the competition, the authors of the most significant projects, capable of contributing to the development of science, technology, and production, along with their scientific supervisors, were awarded honorary diplomas and valuable gifts. According to the jury’s decision, first place was awarded to Ayshat Allaberdiyeva, a third-year student of the speciality of Selection and Seed Production of Agricultural Crops. Second place was awarded to Shatlyk Kochmuradov, a first-year student of the speciality of Organization and Technology of Technical Maintenance and Merjen Haytgulyeva, a third-year student of the speciality of Veterinary Medicine. Third place was given to Bahar Berdiyeva, a third-year student of the speciality of Agronomy, Aylar Bayramaliyeva, a second-year student of the field of training Agricultural Economics and Management; and Baymyrat Matdurdiyev, a third-year student of the speciality of Organization and Technology of Technical Maintenance. Additionally, for their active participation in the competition, honorary diplomas were awarded to Dunya Tayliyeva, a second-year student of the speciality of Agrochemistry and Soil Science, Alp Arslan Ataev, a fourth-year student of the speciality of Veterinary Medicine, Patma Babajanova, a third-year student of the field of training Automation and Control in Agriculture, Atanazar Polatov, a first-year student of the field of training Land Management and Cadastres, Meylis Sabyrov, a fourth-year student of the speciality of Veterinary Medicine and Gulnar Gochova, a second-year student of the speciality of Agroecology.

At the conclusion of the event, all participants expressed their sincere gratitude to Hero Arkadag and the esteemed President Hero-Arkadag Serdar for providing them with opportunities to study, create, and engage in scientific research. They also wished them good health, long life, and continued success in their state activities.
