A Contest for Writing a Short Story, Essay, and Feature Article Entitled “Galkynysh – The Pride of Turkmenistan”

In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, in our Independent and Permanently Neutral Homeland – Turkmenistan, great importance is attached, under the wise leadership of the esteemed President, to promoting the worldwide glory of our heavenly horses, as well as to continuing the national traditions of horse breeding established by our wise ancestors.

One of the joyful and significant events of the early months of the International Year of Peace and Trust was the participation of the national equestrian games group “Galkynysh” in the 47th International Circus Festival held in the Principality of Monaco, in the city of Monte Carlo. Turkmen horsemen gave a triumphant performance, showcasing our national equestrian games, raising high the Green Flag on the international stage, and earning a number of prestigious awards at the festival, including the main prize – the Golden Award.

With the aim of widely promoting and celebrating the glorious achievement of the “Galkynysh” group, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute announces a contest among students of higher educational institutions in the country for writing a short story, essay, or feature article under the title: “Galkynysh – The Pride of Turkmenistan”.

The contest is being held to foster students creative talents, promote national heritage and the accomplishments of the “Galkynysh” equestrian games group, identify young literary talents, encourage youth to engage in writing, and reflect national values through modern creative works.

We invite students of all higher educational institutions in the country to actively participate in the contest!

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people – Hero Arkadag and to the President of Turkmenistan – Arkadagly Hero Serdar – for creating wide opportunities for studying and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people on the global stage.
