The “EcoLife” scientific club of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute held a scientific seminar on October 17, 2025, titled “The Role of Fruit Trees in Humanity’s Food Security.” The event was dedicated to the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty/Hunger and focused on Goal 2: “Zero Hunger” of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The goal of the scientific seminar was: to develop the participants’ capacity for exchanging views and independent thinking in order to prepare them as highly qualified and competent specialists, as well as to familiarize them with the role of fruit trees in ensuring food security.
The seminar was attended by faculty members and students of our Institute. Students who are members of the active scientific clubs in the Institute participated actively with presentations, successfully sharing their proposals on the role of fruit trees in eradicating hunger and achieving food security.
The teacher and student youth who took part in the scientific seminar expressed their gratitude to our Arkadagly Hero Serdar and our National Leader for the opportunities created for acquiring knowledge, education, and creative work.
