On October 16, 2025, the student scientific club “Young Designer” of the Applied Mechanics Department at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute organized a scientific seminar for students, dedicated to the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Teachers and students of the Institute participated in the seminar. The main goal of the seminar was to increase students’ educational and scientific activity. Presentations focused on issues of sustainable development, equality, gender equality, and the eradication of poverty.
During the seminar, students from various faculties delivered scientific reports on topics such as reducing inequality, issues of equality, ensuring gender equality, and eradicating poverty in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Question-and-answer sessions followed each presentation, allowing students to expand their knowledge. Technical aids, presentation slides, and video materials were widely used during the presentations, making the participants’ learning experience more interesting and effective.
The Head of the Applied Mechanics Department delivered the closing remarks. He noted that the seminar had successfully achieved its goal and was conducted in an active and organized manner. The scientific event was successfully held with the aim of deepening knowledge, facilitating the exchange of ideas, and stimulating students’ research activities on the topics of sustainable development, equality, and gender equality. The remarkable activity of the seminar participants attested to its high significance.
