The foreign policy of Turkmenistan is aimed at positive cooperation and strengthening peace in the world through equal relations. For this reason, Turkmenistan is currently recognized as one of the centers of trust and stability, both at the regional and global levels. The policy of neutrality relies on friendship, brotherhood, and good neighborly relations between the peoples of the world. The National Leader of the Turkmen people embarked on the practical implementation of these principles from the first days of his leadership of the country. As a result of the recognition of our country’s International Neutrality, Turkmenistan has become an active partner of world-renowned international organizations, including such authoritative structures as the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
On December 5, 2025, a scientific-practical conference titled “Turkmenistan’s Policy of Neutrality is the Guarantee of Sustainable Development” was held at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute on the occasion of Neutrality Day. The conference was attended by professors and lecturers, postgraduate students, specialists, and students of the institute. At the plenary session of the conference, impactful presentations were made on the following themes: “Reflection of the neutrality principles of the Turkmen people in the book of Hero Arkadag, “Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood””, “The International Relevance of Turkmen Neutrality”, “Political and Historical Features of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality”, and “The Role of the Policy of Neutrality in the System of International Security and Stability.” After the conclusion of the plenary session, the scientific and practical conference continued its work in five sections.
Participants of the scientific and practical conference wished the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who ensure the prosperity and happy life of the people, sound health, long life, and further success in their state-level work for the benefit of the country and the people.
