In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, extensive work is being carried out in our country to identify and realize the creative potential of the youth. This is clearly evidenced by the high achievements of young specialists in various fields. At the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, in order to support the creative talents of students, the UNESCO Club “Environmental Protection – An Important Concept of Sustainable Development” together with the Dashoguz Velayat Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan organized a photo and short video contest titled “The Beauty of Turkmen Nature: Horses and Alabays” among the students of the institute. The creative review was dedicated to the motto of 2026, “Turkmenistan – the Land of Prosperity and Swift Steeds”, and highlighted the significant role of Akhal-Teke horses and Turkmen Alabays in our national heritage. The primary objective of the contest was to reveal the profound meaning of the year’s motto and further promote the global fame of our legendary horses and loyal Alabays. The jury highly commended the students work, noting its artistic expression, depth of content, and technical excellence.
The contest was held in two categories. Among the students who participated in the photography category, the results were determined as follows: the 1st place was awarded to Hojamguly Taylyyev, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Hydro-reclamation and Farm Mechanization; the 2nd place to Kerim Asdangulyyev, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; and the 3rd place to Nurana Aliyeva, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Agronomy. The students photographs artistically captured the grace of the Akhal-Teke horses and the unwavering loyalty of the Turkmen Alabays.
In the video category of the contest, the 1st place was awarded to Serdar Nuryyev, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; the 2nd place to Umida Rahmetjanova, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; and the 3rd place to Ogulgerek Zakirjanova, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Agronomy. The video entries vividly depicted the swift pace of the steeds and the fearlessness of the Alabays, with each work harmonized with national melodies and the beauty of nature.
The winners were awarded Certificates of Honor from the Turkmen Agricultural Institute and the Dashoguz Velayat Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, along with commemorative gifts. Such events not only enrich the creative world of the youth but also significantly contribute to their professional development.
