AN “OPEN DAY” WAS HELD

In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, it is impossible not to mention the Turkmen Agricultural Institute – the youngest among the country’s higher education institutions. The institute trains highly qualified specialists with a broad outlook for various sectors of the national economy and enjoys great prestige among the nation’s universities.

A clear testament to the high quality of education is the success of the graduates who work across different spheres of the economy and achieve significant milestones. Here, student learning is closely integrated with production practice, yielding consistently positive results.

With the goal of selecting educated youth to succeed each year’s graduates, the institute has been conducting the “Open Day” campaign for several years. The most recent event took place on April 11, 2026. Approximately 400 school students participated and were warmly welcomed by the faculty, staff, and leaders of the institute’s public organizations.

Event Highlights

At the opening ceremony, the Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Work, Kuvat Kurbanov, delivered the introductory speech. He briefed the attendees on the institute’s educational activities, which are dedicated to providing youth with a modern and profound education.

As part of the program, several competitions were organized for the students:

  • Interdisciplinary Olympiads in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
  • A Scientific Contest titled “Agricultural Science: The Future is in the Hands of Youth.”
  • Students from the Lebap and Mary velayats also participated in these competitions. The winners who demonstrated the best results were awarded I, II, and III-degree diplomas on behalf of the institute’s rectorate.

    Exploring the Campus

  • The guests toured the facilities, including:
  • Modern classrooms and the reading room;
  • The cultural center and student dormitories;
  • Sports and training grounds.
  • They also gained detailed insights into the organization of exhibitions and the university’s extracurricular educational programs.

    Looking to the Future

    The event left a lasting impression on the participants. Many students expressed a sincere desire to pursue their studies at this specific institute to become future masters of their professions.

    At the conclusion of the meeting, the inspired youth expressed their immense gratitude to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating such vast opportunities for education and professional development, wishing them sound health, longevity, and success in their great endeavors.
