A scientific-practical conference titled “The example of fathers – a principle for generations” was held at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Organized by the institute, the conference aimed to scientifically study the heroic deeds of our ancestors and educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism. During the opening and throughout the sessions of the scientific-practical conference, the speakers – including professors and students – emphasized the courage of Turkmen soldiers on the battlefields, as well as the selfless dedication of agricultural workers in the rear during the war years. In the speeches of Abdullah Rahmanov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Computer Technologies and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Hurmagul Yuldasheva, Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences, and others, it was noted that the life path of the heroes serves as a true school for the youth. The conference continued its work in five main sections, where more than 60 scientific reports were presented. The presentations covered not only historical data but also significant scientific topics such as the relocation of enterprises to Turkmenistan during the war years, the contribution of women to the Defense Fund, and modern methods of digitizing archival data to preserve historical memory. Both experienced faculty members and students actively participated in the conference. Young scientists demonstrated their readiness to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors and achieve new successes in science and education.
The participants of the conference unanimously noted that the immense respect shown by the Hero Arkadag and the Esteemed President toward war veterans and ancestors who worked in the rear is a great example for the younger generation. They expressed their gratitude for the wide range of opportunities created for the development of the science and education system. The core motto of the conference was the principle “No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten.”
