Internet olympiads of the Turkmen agricultural institute – 2026

Turkmen Agricultural Institute announces a series of internet olympiads (intercollegiate subject competitions) among students of higher educational institutions of the country in October 2026. The event is organized by the institute with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The olympiads aim to enhance the quality of student training, deepen their knowledge and practical skills, develop creative thinking, independence, and the ability to solve scientific and practical tasks. They also contribute to strengthening friendly ties between universities, exchanging experience among faculty and students, and identifying talented youth for future participation in international competitions.

 

III Internet Olympiad in Soil Science

  • Organizer: Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science, Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
  • Participants: 3rd-5th year students of all majors and specialties of universities in Turkmenistan.
  • Format: Individual competition. Test consisting of 50 questions.
  • Date & Time: October 26, 2026, at 15:00.
  • Duration: 90 minutes.

I Internet Olympiad in Meteorology and Climatology

  • Organizer: Department of Agricultural Land Reclamation, Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
  • Participants: 2nd-4th year students of all majors and specialties of universities in Turkmenistan.
  • Format: Individual competition. Test consisting of 50 questions (40 multiple-choice questions worth 1 point each, and 10 problem-solving questions worth 2 points each).
  • Date & Time: October 28, 2026, at 15:00.
  • Duration: 90 minutes.

VI Internet Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics

  • Organizer: Department of Applied Mechanics, Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
  • Participants: 1st-3rd year students of all majors and specialties of universities in Turkmenistan.
  • Format: Individual competition. Test consisting of 50 questions (30 multiple-choice questions worth 1 point each, and 20 problem-solving questions worth 2 points each).
  • Date & Time: October 30, 2026, at 14:00.
  • Duration: 120 minutes.

General Rules for All Olympiads:

  • To register, the university must send the details of the team (up to 5 students) and the team leader (including faculty, major, year of study, full names of participants and leader, department, email, and phone numbers) to tohi_tm@sanly.tm by October 22, 2026.
  • Tasks will be uploaded to a dedicated section on the institute's website www.tohi.edu.tm.
  • Participants are strictly prohibited from using communication devices, photo, audio, or video equipment, reference materials, the Internet, or any external data carriers. Tasks must be solved independently. Violators will be disqualified.
  • The jury panel is formed from representatives of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. It evaluates the works and summarizes the final results.
  • Appeals are accepted only from team leaders via email. The decision of the Jury Chairman is final.
  • Winners are determined by the sum of scores achieved (individual and team rankings). 1st Degree Diplomas are awarded to 5 % of participants, 2nd Degree to 10 %, and 3rd Degree to 15 % (depending on the total number of participants).
  • Results will be published on www.tohi.edu.tm.
