GENETICS OLYMPIAD

Our highly esteemed President pays great attention to the development of science and education in our country, the scientific conduct of our national economy. In order to raise the level of knowledge and quality to a new level, to create a new generation of intellectuals of the nation, class competitions are held among talented students. Taking advantage of the broad opportunities created by the President, a Genetics Lesson Competition was held among the students of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.

The main purpose of the course is to improve the quality of students' professional knowledge and skills in Genetics, to evaluate them, to contribute to their professional development, to encourage their creative activity, to develop their skills in self-promotion.

The course was attended by a total of 40 students in the fields of Agronomy, Agroecology, Greenhouse, Agro chemistry and Soil Science, Veterinary Medicine. The students were given 50 test questions related to the basic concepts and genetics of the genetics course. Participants answered the test questions on a computer via the institute's education portal.

Students who performed well and achieved good results were determined to be the winners of the competition. The students:

Holding genetics competitions allow students to master their skills, apply genetics, cellular engineering techniques in agriculture and other fields, and develop effective methods for creating new varieties of agricultural crops.

Conducting such course competitions help to raise the quality of science and education to a new level, to form a new generation of intellectuals of the nation, to develop young professionals who are capable of analyzing scientific and practical issues that are emerging in our age of growing happiness. It will encourage the formation of talented individuals.

The winners of the genetics course were awarded with diplomas of I, II and III degrees of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
