An exhibition-competition of scientific projects titled “Science and Youth: the future of Agriculture” was held

Government support for scientific development in Turkmenistan is steadily increasing, creating the necessary conditions for expanding the scope of cutting-edge research and development and conducting fundamental and applied research. The material and technical base of scientific institutions and higher educational institutions is being strengthened. The latest information and communication technologies re being introduced into their work.

The country’s scientific system is developing in accordance with world standards. Its legislative and material and instrumental base is being strengthened, and extensive opportunities are being created for carrying out scientific research activities in important fields of science and training high-caliber professionals.

In this regard, to stimulate young people’s engagement in scientific work, improve their scientific knowledge and professional skills, and foster innovation in the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of powerful state, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, in collaboration with the Dashoguz Velayat Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli, announced an exhibition-competition of scientific projects titled “Science and Youth: the future of Agriculture” among students. The competition was held on March 18 of this year.

Talented students from the institute’s scientific clubs, as well as students independently involved in scientific activities, took an active part in the competition. The participants presented their project works on priority areas of agricultural development.

The jury reviewed the works of all participants, and based on the results of the competition, the authors of works of practical interest for the further development of education and production, science and technology, as well as their scientific supervisors, were awarded certificates of honor and valuable gifts.

According to the jury, Begli Parahadov, a third-year student of the specialty “Organization and Technology of Technical Maintenance”, took first place, Bayly Bayliyev, a fourth-year student of the specialty “Agricultural Economics” and Albina Zakirjanova, a fourth-year student of the specialty “Agro-Ecology”, took second place, Ikram Ovlyakuliyev, a third-year student of the direction of training “Information Systems and Technologies (in agriculture)”, Rovshen Hudaybergenov, a second-year student of the direction of training “Economics and Management (in agriculture)” and Ogulnaz Amangeldiyeva, a fourth-year student of the specialty “Agrochemistry and Soil Science”, took third place.

Also for active participation in the competition, Vahypjan Permankuliyev, a fourth-year student of the specialty “Veterinary Medicine”, Firuza Doschanova, a second-year student of the specialty “Agronomy”, and Begnazar Yegennazarov, a third-year student of the direction of training “Automation and Control (in agriculture)”, were awarded certificates of honor.

At the end of the competition, all participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating all the conditions for fruitful work and creativity. They also wished them good health, long life, and success in their large-scale government activities.
