TURKMEN AGRICULTURAL INSTITUTE

announces admission to the number of students for the 2021/2022 academic year in the following specialties (specialist program) and areas of training (bachelor's program):

I. Specialist program (on a budgetary basis):

  1. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries (specialties: agronomy; agroecology; organization and technology of technical service; greenhouse; selection and seed production of agricultural crops).

II. Specialist program (on a paid basis):

  1. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries (specialties: agrochemistry and agrosoil science; hydromelioration; agricultural mechanization).
  2. Veterinary and animal science (specialty: veterinary medicine).
  3. Informatics and computer technology (specialty: information systems (in agriculture)).

III. Bachelor's program (on a paid basis):

  1. Informatics and computer technology (areas of training: information systems and technologies (in agriculture) (language of instruction is English)). The duration of training is 5 academic years (1 year - language training in English, 4 years - training under the bachelor's program).
  2. Mechanical engineering (areas of training: automation and control (in agriculture)).
  3. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries (areas of training: agroengineering; use of irrigation and drainage systems).
  4. Applied geology, mining, oil and gas business and geodesy (areas of training: land management and cadastres).
  5. Information security (areas of training: information security management (in agriculture)).
  6. Economics and management (areas of training: economics and management (in agriculture); accounting and audit (in agriculture)).

The institute accepts citizens of Turkmenistan not older than 35 years old with an education not lower than general secondary, according to the results of entrance examinations on a competitive basis.

Acceptance of documents is carried out in the centers of Lebap, Mary, Dashoguz velayats from 12 to 25 July 2021.

List of documents:

  • an application addressed to the rector in the prescribed form;
  • a questionnaire in the prescribed form;
  • educational document (original);
  • medical certificate in the form established by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan;
  • characteristics from the last place of study (work, military unit);
  • 8 photographs of 3x4 cm;
  • a certified copy of the work book for employees;
  • the winners of the state Olympiad for schoolchildren, members of the national teams of Turkmenistan that participated in international Olympiads in academic subjects, hand over the original of the relevant documents confirming these grounds.

In addition, applicants along with the above documents present and submit to the admissions office copies of the following documents:

  • passport;
  • a military ID or a certificate of registration and a certificate from the military commissariat at the place of residence.

The applicant can submit other documents that confirm his out-of-competition and (or) preemptive right when enrolling in the number of students.

The applicant is personally liable for incorrectly provided information and inaccurate documents.

Entrance exams and enrollment are carried out at the institute (Dashoguz city) and in the centers of Lebap and Mary velayats in the following terms:

  • Lebap velayat - July 28, July 29 and July 30;
  • Mary velayat - August 1-2, August 3 and August 4;
  • Dashoguz velayat - August 6-7, August 8 and August 9.

Entrance exams are held in the following academic subjects:

  • specialties: agronomy; agroecology; greenhouse facilities; selection and seed production of agricultural crops; agrochemistry and agrosoil science; veterinary medicine - chemistry, biology, history of Turkmenistan;
  • specialties and areas of training: organization and technology of technical service; hydromelioration; agricultural mechanization; agroengineering; use of irrigation and drainage systems - physics, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan;
  • areas of training: economics and management (in agriculture); accounting and audit (in agriculture) - biology, mathematics, history of Turkmenistan;
  • specialties and areas of training: information systems (in agriculture); information systems and technologies (in agriculture) (language of instruction is English); information security management (in agriculture); land management and cadastres; automation and control (in agriculture) - mathematics, physics, history of Turkmenistan.

Entrance exams in academic subjects are conducted on the basis of curricula for secondary schools in Turkmenistan.

Entrance examinations in academic subjects are held orally in the state language.

Persons who did not appear for the exam without good reason at the scheduled time or did not pass the exam in one of the academic subjects are not allowed to the subsequent exams.

Out of competition and the priority right when enrolling in the number of students, if they successfully pass the entrance exams, are used by applicants:

  • Tenants and landowners with high performance indicators for the last 2-3 years, on the recommendation of the etrap khyakimlik, upon admission to the relevant specialty or direction of training;
  • in accordance with the provisions established by the Law of Turkmenistan "On Education" (new edition).
